Pakistan Warns of Regional Arms Race After U.S. Military Assistance to India

Pakistan has warned that the U.S. decision to provide military assistance to India could trigger an arms race in South Asia. The recent transfer of advanced military technologies, including air defense systems and advanced fighter jets, has raised alarms in Pakistan, which views this as a threat to its own security.

With both India and Pakistan possessing nuclear weapons, there is a high risk that any increase in military capabilities could escalate tensions and lead to a dangerous conflict. Pakistan has called on the international community to address these concerns and ensure that the region does not spiral into an arms race that destabilizes peace.
