Delhi-NCR experienced a 4.0 magnitude earthquake on the morning of February 17, 2025, shaking buildings and startling residents. The epicenter was near Dhaula Kuan, sending tremors through Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad.
“I was just about to make my tea when everything started shaking,” recalled Suresh Gupta, a resident of Noida. “It felt like the ground was moving beneath me. I quickly ran outside.”
Though the tremors caused anxiety, authorities confirmed that no fatalities or serious damage had occurred. Emergency teams inspected buildings, and safety protocols were enacted.
